During a skirmish in a supermarket in Blankenberge, a man has a weapon aimed at an employee. This is confirmed by the public prosecutor’s office of West Flanders.

Actually, theft was the basis of the incident that took place on Monday afternoon. After all, on Sunday the same man had too little money to pay for his can of beer. During that discussion, the suspect gave a kick to a staff member and took off.
The thief was recognized when he returned to the same store on Monday. The suspect punched the same employee and even pulled a gun. Again he tried to flee, but the police quickly caught him.
The 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of theft with violence and show of arms.
