Man on TGV train roof near Champigneulles causes disruption and raises alarms

More fear than harm ? The TGV Inoui Nancy-Paris this Tuesday morning was urgently stopped near Champigneulles (Lorraine). A man was sitting on the roof of the high-speed train.

According to our colleagues from L’Est Républicainthe man would have found himself there by jumping from a bridge.

The 26-year-old man was rescued by firefighters. He was electrocuted and has significant burns. Aware, he was taken to the hospital.

At this point, the train had not yet started to take the “high” speed.

An investigation has been opened by the police.

Traffic between Nancy and Paris was disrupted and gradually returned to normal at the start of the afternoon.
