Man missed at Åndalsnes – searching with dogs and 50 volunteers – rbnett.no

The missing person was last seen on Thursday night. The police ask to be contacted on tel. 02800 if anyone has information about the man.

– We are very worried about him, says operations manager Roar Fylling.

Task leader Kjersti Vestavik informs Rbnett that the man is in his 20s, 1.75 meters tall, has medium blonde hair and a beard and is quite thin.

– He is probably wearing a military green jacket and military green trousers, but it is not entirely certain, says the head of the department.

50 volunteers and 6 dogs

The search operation started on Friday afternoon, and an application is being made at Åndalsnes and the surrounding areas. Vestavik states that the police crews receive help from 40 people from the Red Cross, as well as 6 dogs and ten crews from the Norwegian Rescue Dogs.

– We continue the search throughout the night with dogs. Then the action is rebuilt tomorrow morning when it gets light, says Vestavik.

Like Fylling, she also says that they are very worried about the man.
