The fire brigade was called in to, among other things, place a tent to accommodate the victims, including a young toddler and preschooler. The public prosecutor of Limburg (BE) has started an investigation. The federal judicial police have also been informed. A search was launched to find the man responsible for the drama. In the meantime, it would have been caught on the Breugelweg, about 2 kilometers from the house.
A neighbor of the couple says: “The couple lived here alone with a three-year-old child and a baby of eight or nine months. But they had been separated for a long time.” According to the local resident, the couple often quarrels. “I have occasionally heard a thump, but never a beating fight or anything.”
