Another death from Covid-19 was registered in San Luis Potosí in the last day and 51 new cases confirmed by the laboratory, for a total of 236 thousand 333 cases and 7 thousand 648 deaths, according to the technical report of the State Committee for Security in Health.

The new cases correspond to 32 women and 19 men, with an age range of 1 to 77 years. Furthermore, out of the total number of cases, 24 had a complete and 2 incomplete vaccination schedule against the Coronavirus.

Most of the cases occurred in the metropolitan area of ​​San Luis Potosí (46) and in the municipalities of Charcas (1), Santa María del Río (1), Ciudad Valles (1), Axtla (1) and Huehuetlán (1 ). .

The feature was a 77-year-old man from the State of Mexico; his only risk factor was age over 60. Also, he didn’t have his own vaccination schedule.

The report indicates that 647,313 suspected cases of Covid-19 have been registered so far, of which 236,333 have been confirmed; 406 thousand 547 were excluded and 4,433 cases continue to be investigated. Similarly, there were 227,823 sanitary discharges.

There are 6 people in the hospital, two of whom are stable, three in serious condition and one intubated and at risk of death; three are positive for Covid-19 and three are still under investigation. Hospital occupancy is 1% in regular beds for patients with respiratory diseases and 1% in ventilator-occupied beds for coronavirus patients.
