Norwegian police have detained a man who killed several people and wounded others with a bow and arrow in the Norwegian city of Kongsberg in the southern part of the country, Reuters reported.
“The man was detained” and acted alone according to available information, police told local reporters.
It is not reported exactly how many people were killed in the attack in Kongsberg, a municipality with a population of 28,000.
According to the BBC, the attacker crossed the city while carrying out his attacks and the police followed in his footsteps. It is not known if there are any accomplices.
The incident was initially reported at 19:30 Bulgarian time.
