Mannheim:
On Tuesday, around 1 p.m., a 23-year-old drove along the overpass road with an electric scooter. A patrol from the Hockenheim police station noticed that the insurance sticker from 2022 was still attached to the rear of the vehicle. The following check showed that the man had actually been traveling without valid insurance cover, which constitutes a criminal offence. He was forbidden to proceed.
The 23-year-old is now being investigated for violating the Compulsory Insurance Act.
