Man Arrested for Femicide After Body Found in Suitcase in Cikarang – Latest Updates

A man named Ahmad Arif Ridwan Nuwloh (29) was arrested after allegedly committing the crime femicide RM (50) his body was found in a suitcase in Cikarang, Bekasi. Now Arif has been named as a suspect.

Keeping track detikcom, Friday (3/5/2024) Ahmad Arif was presented at a press conference at Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya building. Arif now wears an orange prison jumpsuit with handcuffs.

Not a word came out of Arif’s mouth. He only bowed when he was presented in front of the media team.

As is known, the victim RM himself was murdered at a hotel in Bandung area, West Java. The body of the next victim put in the bag and dumped by Arif in West Cikarang district, Bekasi Regency.

RM’s body was found in a suitcase in West Cikarang, Thursday (25/4). The perpetrator himself was arrested by a joint team of Jatanras Sub-Director, Polda Metro Jaya Criminal Investigation Department, Bekasi Metro Police and West Cikarang Police, in Palembang, South Sumatra, on Wednesday (1/5 ).

Ahmad Arif himself has now been named as a suspect. For this murder case, Arif was charged under Article 338 of the Criminal Code regarding murder and Article 365 of the Criminal Code regarding Robbery with violence and faces up to 15 years in prisona.

Theft of the Victim’s Money for Reception Fees

The police revealed that Ahmad Arif R (29), who was suspected of killing a woman with the initials RM (50) whose body was found in a suitcase in Bekasi, took money from the victim. The money is supposed to be deposited in the bank.

“The victim was carrying a sum of money that he intended to invest and the money was company money. The suspect also took the money,” Polda Metro Jaya Public Relations Chief Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi told reporters at Polda Metro Jaya, Jakarta, Thursday (2/5/2024).

“The total amount is IDR 43 million,” said Ade Ary.

Ade Ary revealed that the suspect Arif was going to use the money to hold his wedding ceremony. The wedding ceremony was planned to take place on May 5, 2024.

“The plan is that some of the money will be used for the reception,” he said.

It is known that Arif married his girlfriend on March 17, 2024 in Tangerang. Arif and his wife are planning to hold a wedding ceremony.

“The reception is scheduled for May 5, 2024 in Palembang,” he said.
