A man was arrested in Kempense Balen on Monday as part of the investigation into the traffic accident on Sunday evening in which a 31-year-old cyclist died. The suspect is said to be in his twenties from Balen, but the police do not want to give details for the time being.

The victim became a victim of a little after 6 p.m. hit by a car, which then drove on. The cyclist did not survive the blow. The police started looking for the driver, but initially did not have much more information than that the car was a BMW.
On Monday, the investigation led to an arrest, the police confirm.
