Man (32) seriously injured after dogs got into combat in Overvecht | Inland

The incident took place on the Ibisdreef on Saturday evening. Two dogs, pit bulls, from one owner got into a fight with the third dog, probably a Stafford according to RTV Utrecht.

The owner of the Stafford tried to stop the fight between the animals. He was bitten several times in his attempt. Several emergency services, including a trauma helicopter, arrived on the scene for the victim.

The pit bull’s owner is said to have gone home after the drama. The police arrested him there, on the grounds that he did not leash his dogs. His pit bulls have now been confiscated, the police also reported on Sunday.

It is unclear how the attacked Staffords are doing. A witness told RTV Utrecht that it would be a miracle if he survived.
