The man kicked over scooters and destroyed car mirrors of vehicles. A couple who were startled by a ringing noise during Christmas dinner informed the police, Omroep Gelderland reports. Several local residents from the Klarendal district have filed a complaint.
Police have not yet said what the damage is. But the cost is likely to run into the thousands of euros. The man may have caused more destruction. Camera images that may show the Gelderlander pedaling around are welcome.
The man is still in custody, the police spokesman told the ANP.
