The accident happened in the night from Friday to Saturday. At an illegal party on the shores of the lake, a 23-year-old man from Seligenstadt went swimming in the water.
He has not been seen since, the young man has probably drowned (TAG24 reported).
The fire department launched an extensive search.
Divers and thermal imaging cameras were also used. But all efforts were in vain, the 23-year-old remained gone.
The search was initially stopped early on Saturday morning.
However, the forces returned to the lake on Sunday. Now a diving robot should support the divers in their search in the 15 to 30 meter deep water. But the young man remained missing.
Another attempt will be made this Monday.
Bathing in Lake Aje Eppertshausen has long been banned according to the police.

Divers had searched the lake in the morning with a sonar and a diving robot for the young man. This had disappeared the night after Saturday after a party.
Swimming in the lake in the Darmstadt-Dieburg district is prohibited by the police.
