The Spanish island of Mallorca is known for its boisterous parties. A mother now made herself liable to prosecution – her six-year-old daughter ended up with the youth welfare office.

PALMA DE MALLORCA – The mother of a six-year-old girl is in prison in Mallorca for alleged assault. The reason is stunned: cocaine was detected in the blood of the little daughter. That reported the local people Mallorca Zeitung. The little girl needed medical treatment. The child told local police that she had consumed alcohol and a white powder voluntarily and out of curiosity at the private party at her parents’ home.

The story came about because the six-year-old’s behavior caught the attention of the teachers at her preschool. According to the local press, the educators then decided to have the child examined by doctors. The pediatricians did a blood test on the little one. The result was apparently clear: cocaine and alcohol. The doctors then alerted the police.

Malle party with consequences: Witnesses support the child’s statements

The child was temporarily handed over to the youth welfare office. Further investigations should now show whether it was a one-off incident or not. In any case, the local police initiated further investigations against the mother, since witnesses are said to have supported the girl’s statements.

The holiday island repeatedly draws attention to itself with negative headlines. Only recently it became known that eight cone brothers from Germany are in prison for alleged arson on the island. The residents of the Spanish island have long complained that “booze tourism” is getting worse and worse. A shark attack on the neighboring island of Ibiza sounds harmless.
