Thrissur: (KVARTHA) Malayalam film star Sudev Nair got married. The bride is Mumbai-based actress and fashion model Amardeep Kaur Sian. The wedding took place at the Guruvayur temple. Only close relatives and friends attended the ceremony.
All the Thaliket ceremonies were done in Kerala’s unique style. The bride and groom wore kasav mund and kerala saree. Videos and pictures of the wedding ceremony are going viral on social media.
Although he is a Malayali, Sudev Nair was born and brought up in Mumbai. Sudev Soumik Sen, who stepped into the film world through Hindi cinema, made his first appearance in the 2014 film Gulab Gang. Many stars including Madhuri Dixit and Juhi Chawla were lined up in the film.
He made his debut in Malayalam cinema as a hero with the movie My Life Partner. Sudev won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actor in 2014 for his performance in My Life Partner. Later, Sudev acted in many films like Anarkali, Esra, Kayamkulam Kochunni, Athiran and Mamangam.
Trained at Parker, Sudev also holds a Masters in Acting from the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune. Apart from film acting, Sudev Nair has mastered break dancing, boxing, karate, judo, kalari payat etc. Sudev is also a bronze medalist in high jump at the Under-16 National Games in 2001.
Amardeep was born on 22 November 1992 in a Punjabi Sikh family in Gujarat. Amardeep has been crowned Manaswini Miss Thane 2016. She was a 2017 Campus Princess finalist.
