Malayala Manorama Sports Award; Competing Six Clubs | Sports | Sports News

Six clubs are vying for the 2019 Malayala Manorama Sports Award for Best Club in Kerala. Two clubs each from Thiruvananthapuram and Kozhikode districts and one club each from Ernakulam and Thrissur districts were shortlisted. The expert committee visited all the six clubs and evaluated their performance.

Hundreds of clubs in Kerala have applied to be the successors of the Palakkad Olympic Athletics Club, which was selected as the best club in Kerala in 2018. Six clubs were selected from these. Kovalam FC, Thiruvananthapuram’s swimming hub, Thiruvananthapuram Pirappankode Dolphin Club, Fact’s Sports Ground at Fact’s Sports Ground, Elur, Kochi; Kadathanad Raja Football Academy are the six selected clubs.
