The soldiers and civil servants of the Federal Army, who are on duty in the Postzentrum Wien-Inzersdorf to maintain operations there, are now all tested on Covid-19, army spokesman Colonel Michael Bauer reported on Saturday to the APA – Austria Press Agency. It starts today, Saturday, the last shift is on Monday.
“All three layers are tested on Covid-19,” said Bauer. The tests are carried out by the City of Vienna, specifically by the responsible MA 15 (health service). The reason for the test is that at the post logistics center in Hagenbrunn (Korneuburg district) in Lower Austria, where the Bundesheer also supports, two soldiers had tested positive for Covid-19 as part of a sample. There are currently no cases of illness in Inzersdorf, the spokesman assured.
