The fire started at an assembly line and then spread to the roof. According to information, it started with a lump of bread that caught fire inside an oven.

All access roads to Älvsbyn, a municipality with nearly 5,000 inhabitants, were closed on Monday.
Polarbröd is the municipality’s largest employer, and the company has recently invested 150 million in a new production line. It was scheduled to be inaugurated on Monday, according to the newspaper Norrländska Socialdemokraten.
