The official spokesman for the General Directorate for Drug Control, Major Marwan Al-Hazmi, stated that the security follow-up of drug smuggling and promotion networks targeting the security of the Kingdom and its youth resulted in the seizure of (1,394,000) tablets of amphetamine hidden in a shipment of electrical machines inside a warehouse, and the arrest of its promoters, who are both residents. Of both Jordanian and Syrian nationalities, they were arrested and preliminary legal measures were taken against them, and they were referred to the Public Prosecution.
