The Premier League and other football competitions in England could be canceled this season.
According to the English site, the Athletic, several clubs in the championship of England are against the resumption of competition especially that England is very affected by this virus (14,500 infected and more than 750 dead). Some leaders believe that sport is not a priority with this pandemic.
For now, the Premier League is suspended until April 30, but according to the same source, a meeting with club leaders is scheduled for April 3 to set a new date for resumption.
14 of the 20 clubs in England would have to vote in favor of the cancellation before the FA and the Football League made the decision to definitively cancel the season.
