A very serious episode is affecting the F League, the highest category of Spanish women’s football. The trigger for this already untenable situation was that the coach of the Murcian team would have sent a photograph of sexual content to the entire team, including an underage player who is part of the squad.
For days, the rumor of this behavior has been spreading until Mundo Deportivo has been able to have first-hand knowledge of various testimonies in this regard.
The soccer players would be receiving from the coach a continuous series of insults and language of total disrespect such as calling some players “fat”, laughing at the physique of others and criticizing their sexual orientation. In addition, on several occasions the coach has entered the locker room without prior notice, which makes the players uncomfortable and has logically led to discomfort.

The straw that broke the camel’s back has been the sending of a photograph of the coach himself with sexual content to his players, which has set off the alarms.
This newspaper has repeatedly tried to contact the Murcian club, although it has received no response. All contacts with the club have been unsuccessful.
Following the news published by Mundo Deportivo, The club has issued an official statement in which it explains that “it denies the existence of any serious incident in relation to its players, informing in the same way that all the complaints that have been received to date have been addressed” and adds that “in relation to the facts published about the alleged dissemination of a photograph… Alhama began an internal investigation into the facts several days ago and the protocol is being followed as established in the Collective Agreement”.
What has been known is that one of the former players, the Argentine Mariela Coronelwas dismissed without further ado last December despite having one more season of contract and previously repeatedly insulted.
