One of Apple’s official distributor partners in the country, iBox announced that the MacBook Air with the M2 chip will be available in Indonesia on September 12, 2022.
“MacBook Air with M2 chip will soon be available on iBox on September 12, 2022, at 12:01 am,” announced the retail store under the auspices of Erajaya Group, quoted KompasTekno from Instagram iBox Indonesia.

Four color options are available, namely Midnight, Starlight, Space Gray and Silver.

MacBook Air M2 Specifications
The MacBook Air with the M2 chip was presented by Apple at the annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June.
This laptop comes with a new chipset, the Apple M2 as a successor to the M1 chip. MacBook Air M2 or also called MacBook Air 2022 became the first laptop to be powered by the M2 chip.
The Apple M2 itself offers speeds up to 40% faster than the M1. Technically the Apple M2 chip is built on a 5nm gen 2 architecture and has an 8 core CPU and GPU with nucleus which is more than the M1, which is up to 10 cores.
This chip can be paired with up to 24GB of LPDDR5 RAM. Apple says the M2 chip is equipped with a new media processing engine and ProRes to support difficult tasks like video editing.

For power, MacBook Air with M2 chip supports fast charging (fast charging) which is capable of charging the device up to 50 percent in 30 minutes of charging. To achieve these results, consumers must provide a 67-watt USB-C adapter.
As for the design, the MacBook Air 2022 appears with a new design and color. This device is also made thinner than the MacBook Pro, at just 11.3mm thick and weighing 2.7lbs, or around 1.2kg. According to Apple, compared to the previous version of the MacBook Air, the MacBook Air M2 is 20% thinner.
The new generation MacBook Air screen covers 13.6 inches with a Liquid Retina panel that offers up to 500 nits of brightness. The same panel is used by Apple for the iPad Pro 2021 and MacBook Pro 2021.
The screen also has quite wide fringe. The fringe acts as the home of the laptop or FaceTime camera which is supported by an HD resolution of 1080 pixels.
