Lyon 2nd. Ôyosoy, an “urban refuge” of well-being in the city center

In the Grand Hôtel-Dieu, at the corner of rue Childebert and quai Jules-Courmont, a wellness center has opened, Ôyosoy (which means “today I am”). “An urban refuge”, as described by its director, to cut off from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Thus, nearly 20 disciplines are offered: yoga, Pilates, sophrology, stretching, qi gong, intuitive dance… With more than 50 group lessons per week from Monday to Sunday. The center also has individual cabins for traditional, relaxing (Californian, Balinese, Lomi-Lomi), regenerating (reflexology, shiatsu, lymphatic drainage) or energetic massages; and a relaxation room whose walls are covered with salt crystals to meditate or come and take a nap.

And to support everyone in their well-being, workshops on nutrition, sleep, or how to firm up facial features are offered, as well as consultations with osteopaths, posturologists, naturopaths and dieticians.

Before leaving the center, you can take your time and dig into the large library available and peck a vegetable dish offered every noon by the Mowgli restaurant (Lyon 7e). What to take a moment for yourself.
