The album, which has been recorded at the La Casa Murada studios, in Banyeres del Penedès (Tarragona), is produced by Paco Salazar, Paco Trinidad and Luz Casal herself, goes on sale today.
On this new record, Luz explores new sounds and tackles current affairs to deliver a captivating album. Its composed of twelve songs that oscillate between rock and the most classic sounds, that represent the emotions and desires of the singer and that are called to expand the enormous list of successes of the Galician artist, one of the most unmistakable voices on the European music scene.
windows of my soul It supposes an injection of hope; Luz reaches out in each song, offering ways out in the midst of darkness. This is how she anticipated it in the first single from the album, Hi how are thingsa sign of optimism, the result of more than two thousand calls made during confinement to those who asked for it in search of encouragement and comfort.

Some of the talks marked her especially. “Especially in which I saw that this person, in many cases very young people, was desperate and thinking of getting out of the way. That was the hardest thing”Luz declared in an interview for the EFE news agency.
“The title is very appropriate, because it shows much more of me than what I have shown up to now”, explained the artist. In addition, she says that before the pandemic she had outlined some of the ideas she wanted to work on, such as soft is the night o Before you.
But it was that period “so weird and hard” due to the pandemic, which ended up shaping both the form and the spirit of this work. “The pandemic for me meant being concentrated for a long period. I admit that I get very distracted and that sometimes creates a mess for me that I don’t know how to get out of”declares the artist.
The 64-year-old singer boasts that this album brings “texts and emotions that have to do with the intimate being”yours and that of the listener, like an empathic hug. “Getting on stage responds to a need for contact with people. Due to my personal and professional circumstances, I tend to be alone in a very harmonious way, but I feel the need to know what is happening to the person in front of me. and that I am worth something more concrete than just for the other to listen to me”confess.
Despite going five years without publishing new songs, in 2022 he released what was his first live album, Just one nightrecorded during the concert he offered in the summer of 2021 in the Plaza del Obradoiro in the city of Santiago de Compostela together with the Royal Philharmonic of Galicia.
Throughout her career, the singer has received numerous awards, such as the Medal of Arts and Letters of Franceand Grammy Latino honorific, the International Medal of Arts of Madridhe National Award for Current Musiche Goya for Best Song and gold medals from cities like Madrid and Paris, in addition to receiving, last year, the Waves Award throughout his career.
