Russian planes have struck the village of Kopani in Belarus, Ukrinform reports, citing information from the command of the Air Force of Ukraine.
The cars took off from the territory of Belarus, entered Ukraine, and then returned to Belarus, the ministry said. The goal was to try to involve Belarus in the war waged by Moscow in Ukraine.
“Today at 2.30 pm the State Border Guard Service received information that Russian planes took off from Dubrovitsa Airport (Belarus), entered the territory of Ukraine, turned over Gorodichi and Tyumen, and then hit the town of Kopani from the air,” the report says.
“Now the 9th Border Detachment is monitoring the occupation of this settlement by the enemy! This is a provocation! The goal is to involve the armed forces of the Republic of Belarus in the war with Ukraine!”, Stressed the Ukrainian military.
According to the information of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Telegram, the attack planes Su, which entered the country from Belarus, dropped bombs on Ukrainian territory, after which they struck Belarus.
The flight of the two planes was registered by border patrols in Rivne region.
