Luise Kinseher performs in Amberg: “Humor always helps!”

“Painting the walls. Dismantling the sails” is the new title of the programme. On the one hand, this brings back memories of occupational therapies in isolation and, on the other hand, it sounds like a new beginning. Right, confirms Luise Kinseher in the written interview: “We live in an epochal change of times. Everyone has to ask the question, do I settle down as comfortably as possible in the old structures or do I escape and open myself up to challenges?

He deals with this situation in a humorous way in the program. The declared goal of him is to eliminate the heaviness of the subject and to meet an apocalyptic mood with a lot of hope. “Just don’t give impetus to the emergency” – this was her motto even during the forced break at home due to the pandemic. The two book projects completed during this time and the finished film “Weissbier im Blut” prove her right.

Noting the clearly evident reluctance to attend events, she also adheres to the principle of hope: “I’m sure our audience will return. Either way, I’m here!” Faced with the current situation, difficult in many respects, Luise Kinseher does not look for a culprit or lose herself in the misery of the world: “There is no time without worries. I say that humor always helps!” Either way, her audience always went home with a smiling face.

The cabaret artist, who has meanwhile also been nominated for the German Cookbook Prize, is leaving her star character “Mama Bavaria” at home this time. She takes her dachshund with her.
