The government extends PPKM level 4 in a number of regions in Indonesia from August 2 to August 9 next. The extension of the PPKM was carried out to reduce the rate of transmission of cases, one of which was caused by the Delta variant.

In order to reduce the rate of transmission, his party recommends that COVID-19 patients who are at high risk carry out centralized isolation. Especially for those who live at home with pregnant women or parents who have comorbidities.
Centralized isolation, according to him, can reduce the risk of death due to a decrease in oxygen saturation. Because most of the COVID-19 patients who died had worsened due to the drop in oxygen saturation.
