For the most part, the top teams of the Bundesliga found an easy task in the round of 16 of the DFB Cup. While Dortmund was drawn from the second division Paderborn by ex-ski jumping star Sven Hannawald, Bayern would have to play against Darmstadt. To do this, the southern Germans would have to win at Holstein Kiel on January 13th. The draw in minutes.
