In addition, the beginning of her career was not always a bed of roses. “Because I had no money for a word processing program, I was forced to sell my wedding dress,” she once said.

Lucinda’s family announced the sudden death yesterday via the writer’s Instagram page. Husband Stephen – with whom she tied the knot in 2000 – and their seven (plus) children announced in the message that Riley died peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones.
