LPA brings rain and possible floods to Metro Manila and five other provinces, but rest of country remains partly cloudy.

A Low Pressure Area (LPA) formerly known as Amang has been located 40 kilometers southwest of Iba, Zambales and is expected to bring rain to Metro Manila and five other provinces, according to reports from PAGASA. These provinces, including Pangasinan, Tarlac, Pampanga, Zambales, and Bataan, will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms. There is a risk of flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains in these areas. The rest of the country is expected to have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by the LPA and localized thunderstorms with a possibility of flash floods or landslides.

The eastern section of the country will have light to moderate wind speed moving southeastward, while the coastal waters will be light to moderate. The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving southwest to south with light to moderate coastal waters. Sunrise is expected to be at 5:43 a.m., and sunset will be at 6:10 p.m.
