2 sixes at LottoPlus and 3 jokers after the triple jackpot
Vienna (OTS) – The 2023 lottery ended on New Year’s Eve with a real fireworks display of winnings. There were six big prizes, namely a six-pointer in the Lotto, two six-pointers in LottoPlus and three jokers.
In the “6 out of 45” lottery, an Upper Austrian from the Traunviertel managed to crack the quadruple jackpot single-handedly and win around 5.4 million euros. The last six of last year was achieved with a quick tip, and the computer placed the correct combination in the third of four tips played.
There were also seven fives with an additional number. Around 33,000 euros went twice to Lower Austria, twice to Vienna, once to Tyrol and twice to game participants who submitted their tips via the win2day gaming website.
LottoPlus
At LottoPlus, two Lower Austrians had a complete success on New Year’s Eve and bet a six. While a Weinviertler had ticked the “six correct ones” in the fourth of six tips, a Waldviertler won with the fifth of six quick tips. Both will receive more than 260,000 euros each. The LotoPlus six in the next round is worth around 150,000 euros.
Joker
The Joker was about a triple jackpot on Sunday and was a prize of more than 1 million euros for the fourth time in 2023. Three game participants managed to empty the pot by saying “yes” to the correct joker number. This means that more than 361,000 euros went to Tyrol and twice to Vienna.
The first drawing of the new year on Wednesday will be moderated by Thomas May.
