The 13th season of NCIS: Los Angeles premieres on US broadcaster CBS this Sunday, October 10th.
This is how it starts in the episode Subject 17 (13×01): While Callen (Chris O’Donnell) suspects Hetty (Linda Hunt) of having secrets about his past and Joelle shows up in an attempt to catch Katya, the NCIS has to find an informant track down whose life is in danger. In addition, Kensi (Daniela Ruah) and Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) are working on expanding their family.
Good news for Gerald McRaney and his fans: The actor appears even more prominent in the 13th season. He also fills the gaps left by Barrett Foa (Eric Beale) and Renee Felice Smith (Neil Jones), who recently disembarked (we reported).

Gemmill has always been a huge McRaney fan. “I grew up watching him on TV and was really excited when we first got him on the show a few years ago. He’s such a professional and so cool, he makes us all better.“Specifically, what the producer admires about McRaney:”He’s so great because he can do both comedy and drama. And he likes to run around with guns because he’s a great hunter in real life too.“
