LOOK AT: A brand new HE3DA battery factory has opened in Horní Suchá

The ceremony was attended by almost a thousand guests in the František Industrial Zone, including the President of the Senate of the Czech Republic Miloš Vystrčil and other important personalities. The new factory represents an investment whose significance extends beyond the borders of the Czech Republic.

In his video greeting, the Vice-President of the European Commission Maroš Šefčovič mentioned, among other things, that the Czech Republic, thanks to the MES factory, has become one of the key players in the European Battery Alliance: “Magna Energy Storage is a demonstration project also increase its strategic independence. The production of batteries is absolutely crucial for us due to the transition to clean energy and for the modernization of the industry. “

MES and its HE3DA batteries are synonymous with cutting-edge energy technologies worldwide. It forms a revolutionary and original platform with a wide range of uses and, above all, the possibility of storing energy efficiently and effectively. HE3DA battery cells are currently designed primarily for the energy sector and industry, but also for households. They can serve as a bank of a large amount of energy at a low price, but with high security.

Outside this segment, MES is currently focusing on the use of HE3DA batteries in the field of truck transport and heavy equipment, but also in maritime transport. The batteries will even be tested this year at the famous Dakar Rally in the Loprais Team.

“I am really glad that we managed to complete a difficult phase that lasted for several years and that we are moving into the commercial phase. It will bring not only money to the north of Moravia, but also other business in the form of related factories. We come in time to set the direction in the development of energy. For the local region and the Czech Republic, this is undoubtedly a big step forward, and it is important that added value remains with us. We are starting to hold global technological leadership in this field – we are at the top of the pyramid, “said the author of the patent, Czech scientist and inventor Jan Procházka.

As part of the grand opening, a tour of the factory took place, and participants had the opportunity to see not only the batteries themselves, but also to get acquainted with the final solutions in the form of domestic and industrial storage and fast charging stations for electric cars.

The guide was the main shareholder and investor of the project Radomír Prus: “It is the fifteenth factory that I built and put into operation during my career, so far I have managed to bring 2.5 billion crowns to local companies and companies in the region. My goal is to bring a total of one billion euros to the Karviná region and also to build a strong and innovative part of the Czech and European industry with a competitive advantage around the patented HE3DA technology. “

The HE3DA production technology at the MES factory in Horní Suchá is completely robotized and automated in accordance with the Industry 4.0 concept. In the future, the target capacity can be expanded theoretically to 15 to 30 GWh per year.
