American rap singer Azilia Banks criticized Russian cuisine, saying that traditional dishes in Russia are “barbaric food”.
Banks wrote in Twitter in response to a comment by a Russian user who didn’t appreciate her post with a video of home cooking that “Russian cuisine is the worst barbaric, peasant food I have ever seen.”
She also advised the subscriber to eat “deer cheeks and beets.”
Later she admitted that she still liked some dishes of Russian cuisine – for example, honey cake, pancakes and caviar.
Earlier banks shocked social network users the idea to make a T-shirt with the word “chock”, which she learned after a concert in Moscow.
