Receiving Bonnet Huor, director of the Department of Economic Development of the Laval Mayor’s Office, on Friday, the Vietnamese official informed that Binh Dinh wants to attract investment in sectors such as high-tech agriculture, tourism, port and logistics services and a economy associated with the urbanization process.
He asked Huor to promote Binh Dinh’s image among Canadian partners and investors, pledging to create favorable conditions for companies to explore and invest in the province.
Huor highly valued the potential and strengths of Binh Dinh and promised to introduce information on Binh Dinh to Laval city partners, companies and investors.
Currently, in Binh Dinh province, two projects are being carried out with investments from Canadian companies, backed by a capital of around 2.7 million dollars.
In 2022, Binh Dinh exported seafood, plastic products, wood and derivatives, textiles and clothing to Canada, worth more than $24 million. In turn, it imported pharmaceutical raw materials, animal feed and aquaculture lines, worth almost 1.2 million dollars.
