ZOETERMEER – The Zoetermeer police mourn a dead colleague, the local police officer Kim from the districts Dorp and Palenstein. The 33-year-old officer’s body was found in the water in Zoeterwoude on Sunday morning. The flag hangs at half-mast in the Zoetermeer office. Zoetermeer Mayor Michel Bezuijen responded to the loss: ‘The devastation surrounding Kim’s death is, understandably, very great. I am very sorry for Kim’s partner, children, family and friends.’
