Abu Dhabi, 1st November / WAM / Liwa Sports Club announced the launch of new development projects during the coming period in the “Tel Mereb” area, in preparation for hosting the “Liwa International Festival”, during the period from 8 to 31 December next.
The festival, which is organized by the club in cooperation with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, represents an important sports and tourism destination in the Tel Mereb area.
The new projects include a greater expansion of internal roads, equipping various streets in the Marib area, constructing an external road, parking lots, expanding the restaurant area, and opening new camps.
Through these projects, the club is looking forward to making the upcoming edition (2024) different from previous seasons, with the completion of the infrastructure to host the huge numbers of fans and participants, which the organizers expect to achieve record numbers in this edition.
Fans of motor sports, cars, bicycles, and traditional sports are anticipating 24 days of sports competitions, which will conclude with the great challenge with the “Mareb Car Championship.”
