South Korea on Monday recorded the highest number of cases of coronavirus in more than a month due to the appearance of an outbreak of contamination in a district of the nightlife of Seoul.
The country, which in February was one of the most important centers of contamination in the world, is considered as a model in the fight against the virus.
Life had started to resume its course since last week but, this weekend, Seoul, the neighboring province of Gyeonggi and the nearby city of Incheon ordered the closure of clubs and bars, the authorities feared a second wave of contaminations.
This resurgence of cases comes at a time when many European countries are starting a gradual deconfinement of the population.
