LIVE The motion against the Minister of the Interior. Bode, threatening accusations against Drula and Orban / Leader of the USR: “It is difficult to imagine such a challenge and stupidity” / MEPs have turned to insults: “disabled”, “intellectually ill equipped” and “normal scum”

The debates on the simple motion against the Interior Minister, Lucian Bode, began on Monday in the plenary of the Chamber of Deputies and the vote will take place on Wednesday.

The motion was filed by 55 USR and unaffiliated MPs belonging to the Forza Dretei Party.

17.17 Stelian Ion replies for the PSD deputy: You must be very poorly equipped intellectually to use the pejorative term handicapped. I am not disabled but if I were I would not be ashamed because there are so many disabled! I would have been ashamed if I had been an asshole, a normal asshole used as a trumpet by the current power that no longer has anyone to vent his abjections to the opposition.

17.10 PSD deputy Radu Cristescu from the plenary tribune: who is in the room? Is Stelica still breathing? You no longer have that (no. Red allowance) for the disabled?

17:03 Ludovic Orban straight to the reply for Lucian Bode: “About 8 years ago there was a prime minister who threatened me with jail using the same person’s name and I am very curious to tell my fellow deputies as you know, where do you have information on a man who is he serving a prison sentence and is in detention? How dare you threaten a deputy with information that if you have it means that you are breaking the law and that you are obtaining information illegally and if you do not have it, you are lying. ”

16:55 George Simion (AUR): “What you will vote for next is Mr. Schmidt’s business, the purchase of Klaus Iohannis, 600 BMW cars, paid for with Romanians’ money, because that’s the way things are in our country. That’s why Minister Bode has to leave because such deals may have been done in the 90s, early 2000, but we are in the year 2022 and you will have repercussions, I think (…) Colleagues still have many reasons, I tell you that I only give one, you are the political police, you participated in the opening of two criminal cases against me “.

16:47 Cătălin Drula says voting for Lucian Bode’s dismissal is an act of patriotism, because keeping him as Interior Minister jeopardizes Romania’s Schengen membership.

16:41 Catalin Drula: It is difficult to imagine such a challenge and stupidity. The PNRR is signed by Florin Cîțu, it is the reform program that the current Coalition is unable to carry out.

The leader of the Ursr claims that the technical specifications for special vehicles NEVER were approved by him as Minister of Transport, but by Bode.

16:31 Lucian Bode accuses the Ursr of sabotaging Romania’s accession to Schengen, having other interests.

“How do you impose anti-Schengen messages in the party scores, Mr. Drula? With all these anti-Romanian lies, you make yourself laugh,” he said.

“You mocked the BMW allegations and the plagiarism allegations,” he continued.

16:22 Lucian Bode attacks the USR and the leaders of Forța Dreptei, Cătălin Drula and Ludovic Orban. He tells Ludovic Orban that he was involved in an accident, claiming that the car belonged to Nelu Iordache, who in the meantime “became a writer”

“Mr. Drula, we have already seen myth addicts in Romanian politics and you know they did not end well,” said Bode, insisting that the USR leader signed the documents with the now disputed technical specifications.

The meeting, attended by 217 deputies, takes place in the presence of Minister Lucian Bode and is chaired by the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Marcel Ciolacu.

The motion was read in plenary by USR MP Cristian Seidler.

The petitioners ask that Minister Bode leave the leadership of the MAI, because he has not reformed the institute. According to them, the “greatest success” of Bode’s mandate is “the tender tender for the purchase of 600 BMWs from the president’s friend Klaus Iohannis”.

“After almost two years in office at the Ministry of the Interior, no one doubts that Minister Lucian Bode’s priority is to protect the interests of the party, not those of the people. And when he does not care about the interests of the party, Mr. Bode looks after the interests of criminals, political clients and friends of his direct boss, Klaus Iohannis. After all, it could have been different when he put a man in charge of MAI who, when he was Minister of Transport, proved that the law doesn’t give a shit or did he forget the episode of the minister’s car which, overtaking in a continuous line, on a bridge, caused an accident resulting in two people being injured? “, states the motion.

Bode is also accused of hiding his doctoral thesis “one day before the announced deadline for full publication” and allegedly “the father of the corrupt in the ministry”.

Initially, the simple motion, titled “Security and trust or debauchery and theft? Minister Bode must answer for the disaster created”, was supposed to be debated last week, but was rescheduled at the request of the minister who announced he was “engaged in. a series of activities with foreign officials “.
