The Associated Press reports on the liberation of Trostyanets in eastern Ukraine. Reporters also captured Ukrainian soldiers on tanks greeted by locals. Destroyed or abandoned enemy military equipment, including tanks, can be seen near the city.

However, the Kiev region’s military administration warns that Russian troops are currently focusing on retaining the occupied territories and preparing for new operations. The forces are concentrated in populated areas and forests.

Near the city of Kherson, the Ukrainian army managed to stop another attack on the enemy.

Seven European Union countries have called on their citizens to refrain from engaging in Ukraine’s military resistance to the invading Russian troops.

Such a call was made by the Ministers of Justice of Belgium, France, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Spain and Germany. These countries are also members of NATO.

After Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine began on February 24, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called on foreigners to help his country join the International Legion, which is at war with the Ukrainian side. Ukraine announced on March 6 that about 20,000 people had responded to the call.

A Ukrainian delegation has arrived in Istanbul to take part in talks with Russia on Tuesday. Negotiations are expected on humanitarian issues and there may be attempts to agree on a ceasefire.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has previously stated that his country is ready discuss the possibility of neutrality and security guarantees. This was the main and first issue for Russia, and it was for these reasons that Moscow started the war.

Russian troops invading Ukraine are preparing for offensive operations, the Kiev region’s military administration said in a Telegram application on Monday.

“The enemy is concentrating on keeping the occupied territories and preparing for the resumption of attack operations. The occupier is regrouping, concentrating equipment in populated areas and forests to prevent it from being damaged by fire,” the statement said.

Russia’s military leadership is trying to build up reserves and restore the combat capacity of units that suffered losses in the first month of the war.

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine continues since February 24. The talks have so far failed, and the French presidential administration announced on March 12 that Russian President Vladimir Putin now appears to be does not show any desire to end the war in Ukraine.

Russia’s action has paid off sharp condemnation from a democratic world. Western countries have determined several sanctions though against Russiathough against Belarussupporting the Kremlin’s decision to attack Ukraine. Meanwhile, more and more foreign companies are boycotting Russia and suspending their operations in that country.
