Trainings

The teams brought significant improvements two weeks after the Austrian Grand Prix – this applies to all except Haas.

Friday’s practice sessions were dominated by Ferrari. In the first it was Charles Leclerc, in the second it was Carlos Sainza. Max Verstappen trailing in both cases, the Mercedes also showed a decent pace. On the contrary, the second of the Red Bulls – Sergio Pérez – is unexpectedly struggling.

The Red Bull garage was full of work on Friday night. The result is Max Verstappen’s fastest time of the weekend so far. Sainza’s Ferrari was four tenths behind.
