The municipality of Oropesa del Mar is immersed in its most cultural summer. And it is that in addition to offering residents and visitors a wide variety of events for leisure and enjoyment, the City Council, through the municipal library, promotes cultural activities and does so with the first cycle of meetings and literary presentations that will be extended during the months of July and August.
The first of the appointments will arrive this Thursday with Víctor del Árbol, with whom readers will be able to converse in a relaxed talk in which they will have the opportunity to deepen their work. Graziella Moreno (July 28), Rafa Melero (August 4) and Daniel Fopiani (August 11) complete the program of sessions coordinated by the writer Pere Cervantes and which will be held at the Amplàries reading point, starting at 8:00 p.m.
Likewise, and in parallel, the imposing Torre del Rey will also become the epicenter of reading during the month of August. David Pallás will visit the town on August 5 to talk about his novel ‘El Plumas’, followed by Maribel Torrecillas, who will present ‘Ya vas al cole’ (August 19). The finishing touch to this literary cycle will be put by Pere Cervantes to unravel the secrets of his latest novel, ‘The Crystal Spy’, on August 26. All these presentations will be held at 8:00 p.m. in the Torre del Rey audiovisual room.
