Apple will launch a variety of other products at the same time as the launch iPhone 12 on 13 October.
The launch took place in Apple Park, California, USA at 24.00 WIB. Apart from the iPhone 12, this event will launch some of Apple’s newest products as well as announcements of several other Apple products.
In the invitation published on the official page, Apple uploaded an invitation poster. There is a combination of orange, blue, and red covering the Apple logo on the invitation.
Besides that, there was also the jargon ‘Hi, Speed’ on the invitation. The jargon seems to indicate that the latest iPhone puts speed first. However, it is not yet known whether the meaning of this jargon indicates the speed of performance of the iPhone 12 or the cellular network used using 5G.
Following are Apple products that will be launched on October 13.
1. iPhone 12 standard.
The regular iPhone will have two variants, namely the iPhone mini and the iPhone 12. Previous leaks suggest that the new smallest iPhone model will feature a 5.4-inch screen. This size makes the iPhone considerably smaller than all iPhone 11 models.
While the iPhone 12 will have a 6.1-inch screen. Unlike the iPhone 11 LCD screen, this year’s standard variant screen is OLED with a refresh rate of 60Hz. It is possible that the iPhone 12 is only equipped with two cameras.
Rumor has it that the only difference between the two standard versions, is the battery size. The standard iPhone 12 is predicted to have 64GB, 128GB and, 256GB ROM variants.
2. iPhone 12 Pro dan Pro Max.
Apart from the standard version, Apple as usual also provides a higher tier iPhone than the standard.
It is predicted that the iPhone 12 Pro will have a 6.1-inch screen, this screen size is up from the iPhone 11 Pro with a 5.8-inch screen. The iPhone 12 Pro Max, on the other hand, is likely to get a 6.7-inch screen (from the 6.5-inch screen).
All iPhone 12 models also mentioned should get the A14 Bionic chipset. The two Pro models are also reportedly distinguished by the amount of RAM capacity, 4G for Pro and 6GB for Pro Max.
Especially for the two Pro variants, the cellphone will be equipped with three rear cameras and LiDAR features. Pro and Max are likely to use OLED displays with Super Retina XDR, ProMotion 120Hz and 10-bit color depth. This screen makes the Pro and Max variants have a wider color range than the regular variant.
All cameras are 12 megapixels and have the ability to record 4K quality at 120fps and 240fps. The iPhone 12 will also have wireless charging capability.
3. Headphone Studio AirPods
Apple’s online store removes third-party speakers and headphones. This policy hints that Apple paved the way for the launch of the Apple AirPods Studio.
Reporting from TechRadar, some leaks about the headphone design have been spread, starting from the metal frame design, the thick padding around the earplugs, to the pads on the headband.
Rumors also point to some potential features, such as magnetic earpads, wireless without a jack, and having a USB-C port.
4. Apple AirTags
Reporting from Cnet, Apple also introduced its newest product, namely AirTags which is a key chain. However, this product is not just a key chain because this product can be tracked by the owner.
The leaks suggest a special AirTags app will become part of iOS 14. Users can track these keychains through the iOS app.
But rumors point to other tracking capabilities, such as an AR capability that allows users to point their cameras to find digital balloons.
These Digital Balloons will represent the AirTags within reach of your iPhone. When out of reach, Apple also set up ‘Lost Mode’ to ping missing AirTags.
5. AirPower
AirPower is Apple’s wireless charging product canceled in March 2019. Even though it was canceled, fans still hope this product will be launched.
A prototype of the device allegedly appeared in a video in August, reigniting rumors that the device will launch soon.
