The West Java contingent is increasingly comfortable in the top position in the list of medals for the XX Papua PON. They are 26 medals ahead of their closest competitor, DKI Jakarta.
Currently, the DKI Jakarta contingent has only collected 169 medals. With details, 59 gold, 49 silver and 61 bronze. The third position is occupied by Papua. The hosts have collected 152 medals (59 gold, 48 silver and 45 bronze).

For this reason, he hopes that all athletes who excel in XX Papua PON do not end after this, but continue to excel at other events until the next Olympics. “This XX Papua PON is a stepping stone for achievement at the national and even international level,” he said.
As for the results of the XX Papua 2021 Rock Climbing Sport, East Java came out as the overall champion by collecting 6 gold medals, 5 silver and 3 bronze medals. While the host Papua is in second place with a collection of 3 gold medals, 1 silver and 1 bronze medal.
