JAKARTA – The chat world has become even more exciting with funny stickers to answer messages. In fact, often instant messages today are only in the form of sticker replies.

In the midst of such a trend, WhatsApp seems to want to quickly grab its market share by developing a feature that can turn photos directly into stickers. This new feature will certainly make it easier for users who often send homemade stickers on WhatsApp. Somehow the world of instant messaging with the presence of this new feature.

This new feature candidate was first discovered by WABetaInfo in WhatsApp Desktop beta version 2.2137.3. The feature is currently under development and not yet available for beta testing.

WABetaInfo reports that this feature can be used when users send photos via WhatsApp simply by going to the editor section, and clicking the sticker icon in the caption column. Instantly the photo will be sent as a sticker. Once sent, the photo will be displayed like a sticker in a WhatsApp chat.

Through this feature, it will certainly make it easier for users to create stickers using their own photos directly from WhatsApp. Currently the only way to create WhatsApp stickers yourself is with the help of third-party applications and the process is quite complicated for users who are still not advanced.

“This feature is still in the development stage and will be released in the next update,” quoted from WABetaInfo, Sunday (19/9)
