Sosok.ID – A woman China The 31-year-old was shocked to find that part of his ear had disappeared.
Quoted from Oddity Central, Thursday (3/12/2020), the woman had just undergone the procedure nose surgery at a hospital in Chengdu recently.
When he came to, he was surprised to see the cut cartilage his ears had been lifted, allegedly without his consent.
The woman, identified as Zhao, undertakes nose surgery at the Angel Wing Hospital in Chengdu on September 1, 2020.
This is the second procedure in five years he has undergone, but the first in which part of his ear was lost when he woke up from surgery.
Zhao told the Chinese media that the operation went well, he felt good, but four days later he looked in the mirror and felt something was wrong with his right ear.
The tract, the small, pointed cartilage on the inside of the ear, has clearly been surgically removed.
Unfortunately, no one told Zhao about it.
As a patient he was not satisfied, and asked the hospital staff about his findings.
But he was only told that it was normal procedure.
The hospital claimed that Zhao had given his consent by signing an agreement that said “cartilage for nose jobs” would be used.
Zhao told a Chinese news outlet The Paper that he’s consulted several plastic surgeons.
All of them confirm that the cartilage from behind the ear is usually used for the rhinoplasty procedure, as it does not affect the patient’s appearance.
But a spokesperson from Angel Wing Hospital said that cartilage from the back of the ear lobe can cause ear atrophy.
Feeling unacceptable, Zhao reportedly demanded a full refund, financial compensation and new operations to improve the year.
He complained and was embarrassed by the look of his ears, he couldn’t even use ear bud, because the right ear could not support it, so it kept falling.
