Like the Paul Walker accident: an abandoned Porsche Carrera GT is found in an agency

For ironmen, finding a car that made a few units is like finding treasure. And that’s what happened to a photographer in china, where in an abandoned dealer he discovered several jewels on wheels.

James Wan was the one who released the images on his personal Instagram account. The agency is in Guangzhou and was opened in 2005. The star is undoubtedly the Porsche Carrera GT red, one of the most unique models that the German brand built in its history.

The Porsche Carrera GT was born in 2003. There are only 1270 units.

This model was also sadly famous because in a similar one (also red) he traveled as a companion Paul Walker alongside his friend and racing driver Roger Rodas when they crashed at full speed in California and died. It happened in November 2013.

Although with permission to circulate on the street, the Carrera GT is a true thoroughbred of which they were barely built 1270 units.

Its engine is a V10 5.7 of 610 horsepower, with which it accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 3 seconds and from 0 to 200 km / h in 9.9 seconds. The box is six-speed manual and rear wheel drive.

It has a 610 horsepower V10 engine without electronic driving aids. Only for expert hands.

It is also part of a lineage of super sports cars that no longer remains: those that lack electronic controls driving assistance. That’s why taking advantage of the Carrera GT on the circuit requires expert hands.

When it opened, the dealership was owned by Ferrari and Maserati, but over time cars from other brands were also sold. It closed in 2012.

In addition to collecting dust, the German sports car is in good company there: James Wan also managed to capture with his lens a Corvette C5 Z06 and a Ferrari 575 Superamerica, the latter with a manual box (another rarity for these times).
