Ultimately, according to Brussels and London, openness and global cooperation of all countries will be the key to overcoming the pandemic and ensuring better preparation to face future challenges.

Tension between Great Britain and the European Union
There has been nervousness in recent times in UK-EU relations. A week ago, the European Commission threatened to ban exports vaccines against COVID-19 outside the European Union, especially to the UK, to secure missing doses for its own citizens. The president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, expressed frustration at the lack of vaccine supplies from AstraZeneca’s plants in Great Britain.
