The LFP working group on “social dialogue” (*) ratified, this Tuesday afternoon, an agreement on lowering player wages. This compromise is the result of discussions mainly between Jean-Pierre Caillot, the president of Reims mandated by his colleagues, and Philippe Piat, the co-president of the UNFP (National Union of Professional Footballers). It shows a great effort on the part of the players who are, for the most part, already affected by partial unemployment, since mid-March for the first concerned.
