“Lightning” Hospital opens tomorrow

Huoshenshan Hospital to start operating to fight Coronavirus

This Sunday, eight planes from the People's Liberation Army (PLA) Air Force departed for Wuhan, capital of Hubei province. On board there are 795 doctors and 58 tons of equipment and materials to fight the Coronavirus.

Altogether, there are 1400 Army clinicians, most of whom were on the ground at the time of the SARS epidemic and the Ebola outbreak in 2014.

Remember that the works construction started on 23 January. The Huoshenshan hospital covers 25,000 square meters and 1,000 beds and is one of two new hospitals dedicated to the treatment of patients infected with the coronavirus.

Infected people may experience signs and symptoms of acute respiratory infection, such as fever, cough and difficulty breathing.
