Through the official website of the Atlas, the red and black team made the statement where the Argentine and the Foxes broke ties after less than a year in the institution.

“We inform that the directive Rojinegra determined that from this moment, Leandro Damián Cufré ceases to be the Technical Director of the First Team. It is unknown if the situation with Cufré has to do with the results or some extra court situation, since reiterating the Clausura 2020 sees only his first days where Atlas has added three points after beating Cruz Azul.
Cufré arrived at the Atlas in March 2019 and debuted as a red-and-white strategist before the Red Devils of Toluca after the removal of Guillermo Hoyos.
